About

The Tennessee Valley Beekeeping Association is a group of bee keeping enthusiasts who live in or around Lawrence County, Alabama.  The group was founded in 2005 by a small band of folks who were interested in bee keeping. Guided by County Agent Jerry Chenault, the group has grown to about 40 members.

The TVBA promotes beekeeping by participation in local events such as the Chicken & Egg Festival, the Lawrence County Fair, Lawrence County Schools “Pizza Day”, and numerous social and educational events.

You may join by contacting the Secretary/Treasurer (see the contact page for the current club officers).  Dues are payable at the first meeting of each year, $10 for an individual and $15 for a family.

Standard meetings are the second Thursday of even numbered months.  The TVBA currently meets at the Moulton City Hall at 7:00pm on meeting nights.
